Booking and cancellation terms
Last updated: 25 September 2026
This is a translation for convenience. In case of discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
These terms apply when you book at a restaurant, salon or clinic that uses Reservus IA and that business has switched on a card guarantee or a deposit. The amount, the minimum party size or services and the free cancellation period are always shown before you confirm, and you must accept them expressly.
1. Free booking
Booking is free. Nothing is charged for managing the booking or appointment.
2. Card guarantee
- When booking, you leave a card on Stripe's secure page. Nothing is charged at that moment.
- If you cancel within the free period shown (for example, up to 24 hours before), nothing is charged.
- If you do not show up or cancel late, the business may charge the amount you accepted. The charge is decided by a person at the business, booking by booking, never automatically.
- If fewer people come than booked, the business may charge only for those missing or nothing at all.
3. Deposit
- The deposit is paid when booking and fully deducted from the bill.
- If you cancel within the free period, it is refunded in full.
- If you do not show up or cancel late, the business may keep the deposit.
4. Time to complete the guarantee
The booking is held for the time shown (usually 30 minutes) so you can leave the card or pay the deposit. If not completed, it is cancelled and the slot is released.
5. How to cancel
Through the link in the confirmation message, by replying to the reminder or by calling the business. The time that counts is the time of your cancellation.
6. Complaints
If you disagree with a charge, contact the business first. You can ask for the official complaint form and contact your regional consumer services. Your card issuer can also open a dispute.
